Business Delegation to Israel under India- Israel Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation Fund (I4F)

India-Israel Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation Fund (I4F) was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during India Israel Business Summit on 15th January, 2018. I4F is cooperation between the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and the National Technological Innovation Authority in Israel (Innovation Authority) to promote, facilitate and support joint industrial R&D projects, between companies from India and Israel.

DST and Innovation Authority have jointly created a $40 Mn USD I4F fund with equal contribution from both sides over the period of Five years. I4F is aimed to promote, facilitate and support joint Industrial R&D between India & Israel which would lead to co-development and commercialization of innovative technologies benefiting both the countries.

The objective of this programme is to respond to the global issues concerning science & technology while developing technologies that can be commercialized and localized within 2 years through joint cooperation between India and Israel.

In India, on behalf of DST, funding and other services will be provided through Global Innovation & Technology Alliance (GITA) and in Israel, funding and other services will be provided through Israel Innovation Authority.

Under this program, CII/GITA is taking a Business Delegation to Israel during March 2018 under India- Israel Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation Fund(I4F).

To apply under I4F program, Indian industry needs to partner with Israeli industry to develop joint proposals and for which it is imperative for Indian and Israeli industry to forge the partnerships. CII is mounting a delegation to Israel to facilitate partnerships between Indian & Israeli industries in the following sectors:

  1. Information & Communication Technologies (ICT)
  2. Healthcare
  3. Energy
  4. Agriculture
  5. Water

We are inviting the interested companies from India to be a part of Business Delegation.

The proposed Five (05) days visit to Israel is planned in the following manner:

Day 1 : B2B Meeting (venue to be organized by GITA in partnership with Israel Innovation Authority)

Day 2 : B2B Meeting (venue to be organized by GITA in partnership with Israel Innovation Authority)

Day 3 : Visit to the Facility of Israeli Companies by Indian Companies (to be organized by Indian Companies as a follow-up of their interactions with Israeli Companies during the B2B meetings)

Day 4 : Visit to the Facility of Israeli Companies by Indian Companies (to be organized by Indian Companies as a follow-up of their interactions with Israeli Companies during the B2B meetings)

Day 5 : Visit to a University / R&D Center (to be organized by GITA in Partnership with Israel Innovation Authority)
